PURPOSE/ ARCare is a non-profit corporation established in 1982
SERVICES: to serve a variety of needs for individuals with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities. ARCare has three main programs: (1) The ARCare Plan, which provides long-term planning and support for individuals with disabilities. (2) The Representative Payee Program. ARCare is designated by the Social Security Administration to receive funds for individuals with disabilities who cannot manage their finances on their own. (3) The ARCare Special Needs Trust Program. ARCare serves as a unique trustee, serving only individuals with disabilities. The purpose of the ARCare Trust Program is to protect assets while allowing individuals to maintain eligibility for Medicaid/SSI and other sources of funding and support.
AREA SERVED: All counties in the greater Kansas City area. The trust services are available to individuals in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
FEES: ARCare is a fee-for-service program. A fee schedule is available upon request.
HOURS: 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
