PURPOSE/
SERVICES: Focus is on meeting the transportation needs of older adults, people with a disability and people in life transition with no other transportation options. Coordinator matches a rider with a volunteer driver for scheduled non-emergency medical or other appointments, errands, shopping, religious services or civic events. Priority is given to medical appointments. A minimum of three (3) days advance notice is requested.
ELIGIBILITY: Resident of Johnson County; physically able to transfer into and
out of a car; no other means of transportation available
AREA SERVED: Johnson County
FEES: Donation (suggested donation is $3 per one-way trip.)
HOURS: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
(Transportation may be requested for days, evenings or weekends. Ride requests will be filled if a volunteer driver is available.)
