PURPOSE/
SERVICES: To provide independent living services to persons of any disability to integrate them into the community for a more productive living situation. Services include independent living skills training, peer counseling, advocacy, information and referral, and public awareness education. In addition, personal care and assistant services are provided through Home & Community Based Services (HCBS).
ELIGIBILITY: Addressing the needs of people with disabilities.
AREA SERVED: Johnson, Wyandotte, Miami, Atchison, and Leavenworth counties.
FEES:
Independent living services are free. Personal assistance services are provided
under Kansas and Missouri
HOURS: 8:30
- 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
