PURPOSE/ To provide independent living services to persons with
SERVICES: any disability to integrate them into the community for a more productive living situation. Services include independent living skills training, peer counseling, advocacy, information and referral, and public awareness education. In addition, personal care and assistance services are provided through Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).
ELIGIBILITY: Addressing the needs of people with disabilities
AREA SERVED: Johnson, Wyandotte, Miami, Atchison, and Leavenworth counties
FEES: Independent living services are free. Personal assistance services are provided under Kansas and Missouri medical programs.
HOURS: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
