PURPOSE/ HCBS Waiver Programs, independent living counseling, advocacy,
SERVICES: information & referral, employment network, consumer advocacy committees, ADA training and surveying, food bank, deaf services, youth services, personal care attendant services, and the peer specialist program. The Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc. (RCIL), is committed to working with individuals, families, and communities to promote independent living and individual choice to persons with disabilities. RCIL’s Core Services include information and referral, advocacy, peer support services, deinstitutionalization and independent living skills training. RCIL is also a provider for several of the Medicaid Waiver programs.
ELIGIBILITY: Core Services are available free of charge for people with disabilities. Participation in the Waiver programs is subject to Medicaid guidelines.
AREA SERVED: Central Kansas and statewide for the PD Waiver

HOURS: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday
