PURPOSE/

SERVICES:               The purpose of TAP is to provide specialized equipment to Kansans with disabilities or impairments in order to access basic communications services.

ELIGIBILITY:          An applicant must be a Kansas resident, have telephone service in their home, and have a certified disability that requires specialized equipment to effectively use the telephone. An applicant’s gross income must not exceed $55,000 per household. This amount may be adjusted upwards by $3,000 per dependent claimed on Federal income tax return.
