Senior Quest
On Tuesday, October 14, 2008 more than 2,500
older adults attended the 24th annual Senior Quest event at the Overland
Park Convention Center.
Senior Quest is Johnson County’s biggest, most
comprehensive annual information fair for older adults and features
informational exhibits, free health screenings, free one-on-one advice from
local attorneys, bingo,entertainment, and food for sale.
It’s a
wonderful way to spend a festive day while gaining lots
of useful information.This year 130 exhibitors offered
demonstrations, games, and valuable information about their services
available to older adults.
The theme was Red, White, & Blue…a celebration of YOU!
Senior Quest is co-sponsored each year by Johnson County Government, the Johnson County Community College Brown & Gold Club, and the Kansas City Star. Check back after the first of the year for the date of Senior Quest 2009.

The Overland Park Convention Center will have a concession stand open during the event, with breakfast and lunch items available to purchase.
