CHAMPSS (Choosing Healthy appetizing meal plan solutions for seniors
)

The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging (in partnership with Hy-Vee grocery stores) provides nutritious meals seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the dining area of local Hy-Vee grocery stores. Individuals age 60 or older (and their spouses) may enroll and receive a CHAMPSS card to participate.

The suggested contribution is $3.00 per meal.

Senior Neighborhood Centers:


The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging provides nutritious meals served at 11:30 a.m. and friendship, recreation, education, fitness, and socialization opportunities at eight senior centers to individuals age 60 or older (and their spouses), Monday through Friday (except holidays).

The suggested contribution is $3.00.
Call the center of your choice by 11:00 a.m., one day in advance, to make a reservation.
