How do I receive food assistance?

Call 913-715-6651 to make an appointment. You are required to meet with the Community Social Services Manager to verify residency, show proof of income for the past 30 days, provide social security cards for all members of the household, and provide photo ID for all adult members of the household. Once this appointment is complete, if you meet the requirements, you will be eligible to come to the food pantry once a month for a three month period.

You will have to have an appointment with the Community Social Services Manager every three months to be re-qualified for the food pantry. Once you are qualified, you can come to the food pantry without an appointment during the following times (once a month):

Monday 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m
Wednesday 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m
Friday 2:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m
