Am I eligible for holiday assistance?
In order to be adopted for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you must:
- Live in the Spring Hill School District
- Meet the income guidelines
- Provide social security cards for everyone in the household
- Not apply or receive assistance from any other agency for Christmas
Contact the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center to register and complete a wish list for each family member. It is a good idea to contact the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center one month before the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays to register for the program. Every family that needs assistance will receive a grocery gift card and non-perishable food at Thanksgiving or a grocery gift card, non-perishable food, and gifts for children and seniors at Christmas.
How do I sponsor a family?
Contact the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center as early as possible to be
registered as a donor. Every effort will be made to match you or your
organization with a family needing assistance while keeping identifiable
information confidential. You will be given a wish list for each family. As
a donor, you have the pleasure of providing gifts for children and seniors,
non-perishable food, and grocery gift certificates. All items are delivered
to the Spring Hill Multi-Service Center, and the sponsored families pick
them up here. For further details, call the Spring Hill Multi-Service
Center, (913) 592-2304.
