How can my child receive school supplies?
Any child from a low-income family attending a Spring Hill school is eligible to receive school supplies. Call the center to inquire about eligibility, sign-up, and distribution. Supplies are also available for new students entering the district.
Where do the school supplies come from?
All supplies, including backpacks, are donated by the community. Some items are purchased using money donated to support this program.
Will everything on my child’s list be provided?
Every effort is made to provide the basic necessities for each grade. Every grade and teacher requires different items, so we are unable to provide everything each teacher requests. Each child can expect to receive the majority of basic necessities, such as pencils, paper, pens, glue, crayons, ruler, scissors, markers, and colored pencils.
How can I donate school supplies?
Donations of school supplies are welcome throughout the year. We are always in need of backpacks, paper, scissors, glue, rulers, and crayons. Please call the center to learn what else might be needed or to arrange delivery.
